We are holding a 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway on via our Instagram. I wanted to maximize what the business would give this month and I found this to be a refreshing and fun way to do it.

Below are the 12 companies that are a part of the giveaway. They did not reach out or offer their products. We bought them ourselves and are sharing them with our followers. We only purchased from brands and businesses that we are a fan or customers of. The only links included in this blog are directed to the respective company's website. They are not affiliate links.

The giveaway has already begun and as of today we are on Day 2! Anyone can participate so long as they follow the 3 rules that are in the captions of the reels to come.

Day 1: Divine Crosses

We first came across the furniture-maker-turned-Cross Maker Bradley, on Instagram. He gave us a follow and I took a peek at his business page and was impressed by the beautiful crosses he and his family hand make out of a barn they built themselves. Take a peruse through the About page to be inspired by a miraculous story of God’s calling being heard or just marvel at the selection of 100+ different crosses.

We purchased our first cross from Divine Crosses a few months back and it now sits in our very first warehouse so it reminds of why we are here making soap ourselves. Divine Crosses is making some ornaments soon and we are excited to grab some!

Day 2: Genesis Nutrition

Anthony and Aylisis founded The Genesis Nutrition in 2023. They were inspired to build this brand after dealing with health issues (premature infertility) and solved them from a holistic approach. Their first supplement, Foundation, is a liver supplement unlike any other capsule that exists now. They take the potently packed nutrients from bovine liver and combine it with the adaptogenic properties of different fungi and herbs to produce a simple, yet all inclusive supplement sure to fill many nutritional gaps in your diet. I know and work with Anthony personally and I admire his thoughtfulness and the research he puts into developing this product. It’s the only supplement I take!

Day 3: The Woolshire

The Woolshire makes pillows by hand using natural fibers like wool and cotton. It is the comfiest pillow I have ever slept on. I am more of a firm pillow guy myself but with the Woolshire you are able to select how filled you want your pillows to be. They even make pillows for toddlers that I will make sure my own daughter sleeps on.

You spend a third of your life asleep and that is too much time to be spending dreaming on polysynthetic pillows made from China.

Despite the amazing feel and sleep I get with this pillow, what inspires me most is their manufacturing process. Fresh wool is shorn from sheep from Western Montana, only a few hours from where they operate in Idaho. Before they pick their wool up it must be cleaned and carted which is done with an old fashioned machine from the early 1900s!

Day 4: Vera Salt

Ran by our wonderful friend, Vera Salt is the cleanest and tastiest salt that we have come across. Before Vera Salt, we thought we were already bougie salt people. We spent the extra bucks to get what we thought was high quality salt. It definitely tasted better than cheap iodized salt. But when Vera Salt busted into the scene they came with hard evidence. 90% of sea salt is contaminated with microplastics due to the ocean’s pollution. Pink Himalayan salt gets its color from the iron oxide that is present in them.

Vera Salt is third party tested for microplastics and heavy metals and boasts low levels of contamination, lower than many well recognized, “clean” sea salts.

Day 5: Fountain Head

When it comes to finding toxic-free skincare products, there are a growing number of options to choose from. When it comes to finding toxic-free hair care products, the struggle is real. There are those who claim that they are clean and do not do a great job at cleaning your hair. Then there are those who make the claim but still use questionable ingredients.  Fountain Head has stood up to fill a much needed gap in the world of hormone healthy body products.

My favorite product of theirs is the Raw Honey Shampoo that uses honey, coconut derivatives, chamomile extract, and other natural ingredients that leave your hair feeling clean and nourished.

Day 6: Rhizal

The easiest way to get someone to adopt healthy habits or use healthy products is to make sure that those products have greater utility than their current ones or are cooler/more fun.

Rhizal shoes are handmade, wide toe, zero drop shoes made from natural materials. Best of all, they are also grounded with copper. Grounding is a proven positive health habit that decreases inflammation and lowers stress. With Rhizal you can enjoy the benefits of grounding while keeping your feet clean AND look stylish doing it. My personal favorites are the Brios.

Day 7: Farmer Bill’s Provisions

I am not the biggest fan of dried meat snacks because they lack all of what makes meat tasty - the rich and succulent fat. Farmer Bill’s makes biltong, which differs from jerky in that it is air dried rather than smoked or cooked. It produces a wet and delectable piece of meat that is only enhanced by the spices and flavors that only small batches can provide. I personally know the man behind the brand, who is a fellow Christian father and one of the kindest people I know.

Day 8: Aplos Nutrition

I ran into an advertisement from Aplos a while back and after looking at the ingredients for his supplements, we immediately inquired about a product exchange. No “natural flavors”, fillers, or shady ingredients. The protein powder is delicious and sweetened with organic dates. I am particularly picky with electrolyte supplements. I prefer not to drink stevia, citric acid, natural flavors, or minerals with poor bioavailability. Aplos makes theirs with salt and fruit powder and I am a big fan.

Day 9: Nic Nac Naturals

I first started using nicotine in 2023. I found it to be an effective drug in stimulating creativity. It also gives me a sense of chill, it helps me take a breath and relax momentarily. I would use pouches but after a while I got sick of them. It didn’t help that the brand I was using made their products with artificial flavors and plastic. YUCK. Nic Nac Naturals came along and I am very pleased with their integrity. Xylitol for sweetness, essential oils for flavor, plastic-free lozenges. Crush your vice! Must be 21 or older to purchase.

Day 10: Buffalo Wool Co

I love clothing and accessories. What I look for when buying pieces are utility, quality, and sourcing.

Not in that particular order and not all of those boxes need to be checked for me to pick something up. I ran

into Buffalo Wool Co on X. Theresa and Ron’s family have been raising bison for 30 years in North Texas. For the last 12 years they have built a supply chain that brings local mills, designers, and ranches together to make all-American, quality products. From socks to gloves, beanies and scarves, Buffalo Wool Co. is your go-to one stop shop for accessories made with natural fibers sure to keep you cozy and stylish.

Day 11: Elevated Faith

Please read through Josh’s story on how he founded and built Elevated Faith, a Christian clothing company. It inspires me and I see many parallels with how Health y Sol is growing. I truly believe we are all special. We were all created beautifully and are here for a reason. Like Josh, I was lost without God. With Him, I am a new person. I have never been the same since.

Day 12: Bee Haven Honey Farm

Bee Haven is our honey supplier located in Lakeland. They have been our number one source for raw honey ever since we launched our Original Tallow and Honey Liquid Soap. They have been an incredible partner and I have so much pride in knowing exactly where this special honey comes from. Bees pollinate different wildflowers near the Osceola National Forest to produce their delicious Gallberry Honey. If you are ever in Central Florida, make a stop to their farm where you can buy eggs, milk, honey, and even our liquid soap!
