Is your soap safe for sensitive skin, dry, irritated, or oily skin?
Yes. Grass-fed tallow provides a very gentle, nourishing hygiene experience that is suitable for even the most sensitive skin types. It provides meaningful cleansing action for oily skin types. We also make fragrance-free variations for those who do not react well with essential oils.
What should I expect when I switch?
Most bars and body washes clean with synthetic detergents that strip your skin's oil layer along with the dirt. When you stop doing that, skin usually needs a week or so to stop overproducing oil to compensate. In that first week some people notice their skin feels different before it feels better. After that, most people say they stop reaching for lotion.
What makes your soap different from other "natural" brands?
Most "natural" soaps still use synthetic fragrances instead of essential oils. Most use coconut/palm oil based formulas that, while natural, tend to dry skin out.
Is this really worth the price?
One bar lasts 4–6 weeks with proper care, far longer than most commercial soap. When you factor in what you're not buying (lotion, separate face wash, body wash), it pays for itself quickly.
