Will This Help With My Acne Or Eczema?

Most of the time skin issues are related to your diet and gut health. For this reason we cannot guarantee that our soap will heal your skin. What Is Sodium/Potassium Hydroxide (lye)?

Sodium and potassium hydroxide (lye) are a key ingredient in soap. There would be no soap without it. It chemically alters the fats and oils we use through the saponification process and leaves you with a product that cleanses you. Imagine if you only used olive oil to clean your skin… we reckon it will cause more of a mess.

 

There is nothing to worry about with the use of lye, we cure our bars for 6 weeks and to ensure there is zero lye content in the final product.

Is Your Soap Safe For Babies?

Our bar soap is an excellent choice for babies. Our soap is mostly tallow which is perfect for sensitive skin. We recommend using our unscented variation as some babies might be sensitive to essential oils.

Make Fragrance Free

As someone with dry, sensitive skin who purchased this product to use as a face moisturizer, I do not recommend. The reason why this has not worked for me is the essential oils. And that’s totally on me since it’s listed in the ingredients, but I find that it has a stronger fragrance. I absolutely adore their fragrance free soap and find this balm’s fragrance from the essential oils to be a bit overwhelming following the fragrance free soap. I would love to see a fragrance free version come out without the essential oils. I totally understand that some people will benefit from the essential oils in this product but if you are at all sensitive to products with fragrance that you put on your face, I would not recommend. However, I have seen benefits from using this on elbows, knees, and other places on my body that generally are not as sensitive to fragrance as my face is. So I’m still able to use the product but not as I was hoping for. I would love to see more fragrance free face products from this company because their soap is absolutely amazing! If you’re not sensitive to fragrances or essential oils, I would recommend giving this a try.

Yes, you need it!

If you’re still doing some 14 step Kbeauty route post 2020. Seriously just stop lol if you want to save your time and money and wake up with your skin skinning, please go buy this bone balm. Or please don’t, because I need to stock up!! It is literally the best balm I’ve ever used. I woke up with glowing, balanced skin. The eczema I was struggling with for 4 months on my lower eyelid was literally healed in 2 days using this. I literally tried everything for that patch of eczema aside from prescribed steroid creams. But every moisturizer, eczema cream, Vaseline, in the drugstore and on Amazon. All failed. 2 nights of using Bone Balm, cleared! If you have eczema you absolutely need this Balm! If you’re into slugging with Vaseline, switch to this. Your skin will be GLOWING!!!! I love Health y Sol products and cannot wait to see this brand keep growing!!
